Our Story
Welcome to the new home of Barks & Tails Rescue. Building this new site has been a long time in the making. We will continue to update as our rescue grows. Barks & Tails Rescue Inc 501(c)3 is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding loving homes for rescued animals. We focus on shelter rescues, fostering and adoption services to ensure every animal gets a chance at a good life. We are deeply committed to the cause and strive to give each of our rescued animals the best possible home.
We started our little rescue from a dream and have slowly built it from the ground up. We are completly funded from donations along with our online sales. There is such a huge need for rescues. These pups don't get to choose so we must be their voices.

Donations are always needed. We are a registered 501c3 not for profit rescue. All our work is done with the help of people just like yourself. Every day there is a drastic need to keep fighting our fight. A voice for those who don't get to choose.

We are very pleased to announce that now you can have a authentic piece of the Rainbow Bridge. The bridge was very kind in that it lost a small section. We brought that section back with us and came up with this idea. Now those who are from near and far who have collars out on the bridge can have a connection to the bridge. A sense of being with your beloved pet who has crossed over. Any donation of $35 and above and we will send you your very own keepsake. These are very limited and once their gone that will be it. This is open to all US citizens. If you live outside the country please send an email and we will see if we can get the ball rolling for you also.

Krinkle 11week old mixed female. Absolute sweetheart. Great with other pups and loves everybody. She was given her name because of the very unique Krinkle in her tail. We are proud to announce that little Zaboo has been adopted. He will be going to his new furever home on 8/25/24. A wonderful couple who attended Bumble Bash fell in love with him and will be returning to give this little guy his new home. One more pup now furever safe.
08/01/24 We would like to welcome Zaboo. This little guy was abandoned and beat. Why is so far beyond our understanding. We were called and asked if we could take him in as an emergency rescue. He was covered in scars. Fast forward a few days and this little guy has settled right in. He is absolutely amazing with people and other animals. He is house trained and loves nothing more than to be by your side. We have had him to our vet where he was updated with all his shots. He is scheduled for his neuter appointment for Sept 12th 24. From what we can gather, he is about a year plus in age and is full grown. He's an amazing pup and how anyone could beat him is just sick. If you are interested in this little guy. Please fill out an adoption inquirer form or contact us directly.

Bumble Bash 2024 was a huge success. And now Bumble Bash 2025 is on. This is a free event open to one and all. We are going to have food, games, raffles along with a station for you to do your very own collar for the rainbow bridge. Along with so much more. We are also planning a very special surprise for one and all. We look forward to seeing everyone from far and wide.Read More
