Welcome to the new home of Barks & Tails Rescue. Building this new site has been a long time in the making. We will continue to update as our rescue grows. Barks & Tails Rescue Inc 501(c)3 is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding loving homes for rescued animals. We focus on shelter rescues, fostering and adoption services to ensure every animal gets a chance at a good life. We are deeply committed to the cause and strive to give each of our rescued animals the best possible home.
We started our little rescue from a dream and have slowly built it from the ground up. We are completly funded from donations along with our online sales. There is such a huge need for rescues. These pups don't get to choose so we must be their voices.
We strive to make a difference four paws at a time. Thank you for stopping by and we look forward to your continued support.

Valentine's day raffle

In honor of the rainbow bridge that was lost to the storms. Barks & Tails Rescue is doing our best to start another. This is just a small token to the people who have lost so much. Each collar placed carries the names of pets that were on the rainbow bridge. It is our honor to try and bring a little peace to all of you that have lost so much. We are proud to announce that little Zaboo has been adopted. He will be going to his new furever home on 8/25/24. A wonderful couple who attended Bumble Bash fell in love with him and will be returning to give this little guy his new home. One more pup now furever safe.

08/01/24 We would like to welcome Zaboo. This little guy was abandoned and beat. Why is so far beyond our understanding. We were called and asked if we could take him in as an emergency rescue. He was covered in scars. Fast forward a few days and this little guy has settled right in. He is absolutely amazing with people and other animals. He is house trained and loves nothing more than to be by your side. We have had him to our vet where he was updated with all his shots. He is scheduled for his neuter appointment for Sept 12th 24. From what we can gather, he is about a year plus in age and is full grown. He's an amazing pup and how anyone could beat him is just sick. If you are interested in this little guy. Bumble Bash 2024 was a huge success. We would like to thank everyone who came out to attend. People from all over NY state along with folks and pups from PA and MASS attended.
